Man Cheats on Wife and 4 Girlfriends Simultaneously: Shocking Story from China
Honesty is considered crucial in marriage, as a lack of it often leads to broken relationships. However, some individuals disregard this sanctity and prioritize other aspects of life over their commitments. A bizarre case from China serves as a prime example of such behavior. According to a report by the South China Morning Post, a man maintained relationships with five women simultaneously, without any of them knowing about the others.
All Living in the Same Housing Complex
The women involved had been living in the same housing complex for four years. The man, who hailed from Jilin Province, came from a financially strained background—his father worked in construction, and his mother worked in a bathhouse. His difficult upbringing forced him to drop out of school. Pretending to be wealthy, the man gave lavish gifts to one woman, leading to a relationship and her pregnancy. However, when his true financial status was revealed, his wife threw him out of their house.
Repeating the Same Scheme
Barely a week later, he targeted another woman using the same deceptive tactics. Claiming to need money for home repairs, he borrowed 1.65 million yuan (~₹16.5 lakh) from her. He then rented a flat in the same building for his pregnant girlfriend, where his wife also lived.
Deception of Other Women
The man used the money to woo other women in the complex, including two university students and a nurse. He borrowed substantial amounts from them, totaling approximately:
- 1.7 million yuan (~₹1.7 lakh)
- 1.8 million yuan (~₹1.8 lakh)
- 940,000 yuan (~₹94,000)
When one of the women asked for her money back, he gave her counterfeit currency hidden in a bag.
Exposure and Legal Action
His schemes unraveled when one of the women filed a police complaint against him. Additionally, his wife and another girlfriend discovered his deceit when they encountered each other while out with their children.
A court found the man guilty and ordered him to repay all the money he had taken, along with a fine of 1.4 million yuan (~₹14 lakh). He was also sentenced to 9.5 years in prison.
This story highlights the consequences of deceit and the importance of trust and transparency in relationships.
