Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working towards making the country stronger by promoting the spirit of Swadeshi (self-reliance through indigenous production). In today’s global context, PM Modi’s determination to make India economically strong and self-reliant is an inspiration for all. The people of Madhya Pradesh stand united with the Prime Minister’s vision.

For the first time in the state, rail and metro coaches will be manufactured and supplied both within India and abroad. This ₹1,800 crore project is expected to generate over 1,500 direct and indirect jobs. This rail coach manufacturing unit will give Madhya Pradesh a significant place on India’s railway manufacturing map.
Dr. Yadav, while addressing the media at Samatva Bhavan in the Chief Minister's residence, stated that 60.0630 hectares of land in Umaria village, Tehsil Goharganj, Raisen district, has been allocated for the ambitious project. Coaches for Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and Metro trains will be built here. This will spur the growth of small industries in Bhopal and Raisen, further boosting the state economy and generating employment.

CM Yadav stated that the Swadeshi campaign will continue to grow. The government is moving forward with the development of Bhopal and Indore as metropolitan cities. The new rail coach manufacturing unit near Bhopal and the PM MITRA textile park near Dhar will also benefit the Indore metropolitan area.
The PM MITRA park, with an investment of ₹2,000 crore in the ready-made garments sector, will open new doors of prosperity for Madhya Pradesh. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the park on August 25 in Dhar. Over one lakh youth from tribal regions will get employment. The park will strengthen the Swadeshi movement and help cotton farmers from Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam, and Nimar get fair prices for their produce. The park will also facilitate textile exports to foreign countries.
Dr. Yadav also noted that the Global Investors Summit held in Bhopal attracted investments worth ₹30.77 lakh crore, creating a strong industrial climate in the state with investors coming from both India and abroad.
