To empower the youth of the state with technical knowledge, the Rajasthan Centre of Advanced Technology (R-CAT), operated by the Department of Information Technology and Communication, successfully concluded its two-day inter-college quiz competition on Thursday.
The winning team of the competition was from the University of Rajasthan, which was awarded a cash prize of ₹21,000. The second prize of ₹15,000 went to the students of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, while the team from SKIT College secured third place and received ₹11,000.
Meritorious students from various universities and colleges participated in the competition and expressed that they thoroughly enjoyed the spirit of competition. They shared that the event provided a valuable platform for interaction, knowledge exchange, and a deeper understanding of practical learning methods. The participants emphasized that such events not only enhance knowledge, skills, and curiosity but also promote healthy competition, innovative thinking, and a spirit of self-reliance.
Executive Director of R-CAT, Mr. Sanjay Singhal, informed that a total of 15 college teams from Jaipur took part in the competition. After the knockout round held on Wednesday, six teams advanced to the semi-final round on Thursday.
Notably, the competition included multiple rounds based on general knowledge, technical topics, and audio-visual quizzes, where participants showcased exceptional logical thinking and subject expertise.
