Pranav Gautam, a 4th year Computer Engineering student of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) was part of a 5 member international team that won the 1st Prize in the ASEAN-India Hackathon 2021, an International Hackathon in which teams from 11 countries participated. The team won prize money of $2700 also with the certificate.
Apart from Pranav, Navin Sridhar and Sidharth Singha Roy from India, Songeam Sela from Combodia and Soe Moe Htet from Myanmar were the other members of the Team 44- Proctr that won the event.A total of 330 students from 11 different countries were selected for this Hackathon. Prarav got the chance to participate in it as he was part of the JMI team ‘Monks’ that won Smart India Hackathon- 2020.
While expressing his joy on the achievement Pranav said “It was honour to represent my university and country at an international Heckathon and win. I am grateful to my teachers who always supported me and trained me to become a part of such a prestigious event.”
