The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has intensified its strict monitoring to safeguard the interests of eligible candidates and curb any fraudulent attempts to secure government jobs through unfair means. With the Commission’s continuous innovations, the chances of undeserving candidates harming the prospects of the most deserving have significantly diminished.
As part of this effort, RPSC has so far debarred 524 ineligible and suspicious candidates from its recruitment examinations. Out of these, 415 candidates have been permanently debarred, while 109 candidates have been barred for a period ranging from one to five years.
According to the district-wise list, Jalore district recorded the highest number with 128 candidates debarred, followed by Banswara (81) and Dungarpur (40).
Key Reasons for Debarment:
Fake Degrees/Documents: 157 cases, including 126 related to fake B.Ed degrees.
Use of Unfair Means in Exams: 148 cases.
Impersonation (Dummy Candidates): 68 cases, where someone else appeared in place of the actual candidate.
Bluetooth/Mobile/Electronic Device Cheating: 38 cases.
Misuse of Question Papers/OMR Sheets: 62 cases, including taking them outside the exam center, making unwanted remarks, or tampering with answer sheets.
Other Reasons: 51 cases, such as disruption during exams, false information in application forms, or unauthorized presence at exam centers.
Candidates from Other States Also Involved
Out of the 524 debarred candidates, 514 are from Rajasthan, while 10 are from other states — Uttar Pradesh (5), Haryana (2), Bihar (1), Delhi (1), and Madhya Pradesh (1).
Monitoring of Multiple SSO IDs
The Commission is also keeping a close watch on candidates using multiple SSO IDs to apply and appear in different sessions of the same examination. Such candidates have also been debarred.
To strengthen candidate verification, RPSC introduced the KYC (Know Your Candidate) process from July 7, 2025, making Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar verification mandatory for One-Time Registration (OTR). Without e-KYC, candidates will not be able to apply for upcoming recruitment exams.
Currently, there are 69,72,618 registered candidates in OTR. Out of these, 37,53,307 have been verified via Aadhaar, 21,70,253 through Jan Aadhaar, and 10,33,136 via SSO ID. Among the latter, 48,667 candidates have already completed the e-KYC process.
Fake Divorce Certificates Under Scrutiny
RPSC Secretary Mr. Ramniwas Mehta also revealed that some candidates are misusing the reserved quota for divorced women by producing fake divorce certificates. In certain cases, divorce decrees were obtained through collusion (fraudulent mutual agreements) and used to claim eligibility under the quota.
The Commission has referred such cases to investigative agencies for inquiry. Action will be taken based on the reports once investigations are completed.
