Jaipur, 03 November, 2025: Fortis Escorts Hospital Jaipur hosted a comprehensive hands-on workshop on Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) on 31 October, 2025. The event was held under the umbrella of the Department of Critical Care Medicine. The aim of the workshop was to enhance the diagnostic and clinical proficiency of healthcare professionals in the use of ultrasound across critical care and emergency services.
The program included a series of engaging events such as lectures, demonstrations and practical sessions led by eminent faculty members from across the country. The workshop conducted discussions and explored knowledge across various topics such as hemodynamic assessment, lung ultrasound, echocardiography, vascular access and procedural guidance. The activities held at the workshop aimed at equipping participants with essential and real-world clinical skills for bedside decision-making.
Across 40 participants registered their presence at the workshop, including doctors and residents from various medical specialties, who benefited from a structured learning environment combining expert guidance and case-based learning. The sessions were quite interactive and offered the attendees an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical clinical scenarios under the supervision of senior intensivists.
