Rajasthan continues to be at the forefront of the country in the field of information technology. It is the endeavor of the state government that Rajasthan strengthen its identity in the country and the world with state-of-the-art technologies and innovations in the field of IT. With this thought in mind, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot announced the establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Center of Advanced Technology (R-CAT). This announcement was realized on the ground and R-CAT is now functioning as an IT finishing school. This modern institute is providing training to the youth to develop latest IT technology and soft skills. With this, better employment opportunities will be available to the youth in public and private sector. Presently 140 students are being given free training here and training of 40 students has been completed.
83 types of training under one roof
It is the endeavor of the state government to train the students pursuing other technical education courses along with graduation and post graduation with a professional approach, so that they can get employment opportunities in multinational companies. Also they can stand on their own feet by starting their own start up etc. For this purpose 83 training programs are being run in R-CAT at present. This includes programs related to the latest technology including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Cloud Computing, Augmented, Virtual Reality, Java Development Clinical Trial Program and Data Science. The youth trained in these programs will be able to fulfill the needs of the market along with making their bright future.
Training through world class companies
Young generation lays more emphasis on latest technology. In view of this, the state government has provided advanced equipment, experienced trainers, world class infrastructure in this institute. Along with this, training programs of one week to 6 months duration are being organized for the youth through world class companies in the field of IT such as Oracle, VM Ware, RedHat, SAS, Auto Fina Robotics, Cisco etc. Huh. The institute will also provide world class certification to the students.
Hi-Tech Smart Classes
R-CAT offers hi-tech smart classes for students, private computers for all, practice labs, reading rooms, cafeterias etc. Classes are being conducted in R-CAT in two shifts. The first shift is operated from 8 am to 2 pm and the second shift is conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. The state government will soon start R-CAT branches in other districts in a hub and spoke model. In which students will be able to participate in the classes of District R-CAT Center. Interested students can apply for participating in the training programs on the website of R-CAT at rcat.rajasthan.gov.in.
Free training to the first batch students by the state government
Gitesh Singh, who is taking training in Oracle course, says that he got information about R-CAT from social media and college. A certificate will be given after completing the training program here. Whose recognition is world class. This course will provide many benefits in the technical field. This training is being provided free of cost to the students of the first batch by the state government. For this course from outside, one lakh 20 thousand rupees have to be paid. The state government has taken excellent steps to promote the IT sector. This will give better opportunities to the promising students.
Lakhan Mishra, who is taking robotics training in R-CAT, said that this course is of 6 months duration. The fee for this course in a private institute is around Rs 65 thousand, but the state government is providing all the courses to the first batch free of cost. After this course we will be granted certification by Autofina. With the help of which you can get good job opportunities.
