In the tiny village of Bhadadsui in Rajasthan’s Baran district, with a population of merely 600–700 people, a remarkable story of grit and determination was born. Monu Meena, a humble Hindi-medium student, turned his hardships into stepping stones and secured an All India Rank of 748 in his category in NEET 2025. He is now set to begin his MBBS journey at a government medical college — on the path to becoming a doctor.
But this isn’t just a tale of success. It’s a story of struggle, sacrifice, and unshakable resolve.
In 2011, Monu lost his father after a prolonged illness. He was very young at the time. His mother, Smt. Kalawati Bai, took on the full responsibility of the household, working tirelessly in their small farm to provide for her children. With teary eyes and a determined heart, she dreamed of giving her sons a proper education.
Monu’s elder brother, Ajay Meena, had also passed Class 12 with Biology and dreamt of becoming a doctor. However, when the family couldn’t afford coaching for both sons, Ajay silently sacrificed his own dream. He chose to pursue a B.Sc. degree instead, dedicating all possible resources to help Monu chase his ambition.
Monu had already proven his potential by scoring 91.50% in Class 10. But when it came to NEET preparation, the financial barrier loomed large. That’s when his mother reached out to Motion Education Kota. They introduced her to the Rajasthan Government’s Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana, a scholarship scheme under which Monu could receive free coaching, accommodation, and meals for two years.
Monu applied — and based on his academic record, he was selected.
This marked a turning point in his life — a journey from his remote village to the coaching hub of Kota.
When Monu first met Motion Education’s Director, NV Sir, he carried the burden of being from a Hindi-medium background. But in NV Sir, he found not judgment, but belief. Monu recalls:
"People often say success is difficult for Hindi-medium students. I believed that too. But when I met NV Sir, my perspective changed. He told me, ‘It’s not the medium, it’s the effort that matters.’ That day, I promised myself to work twice as hard."
Motion Education Kota provided Monu with everything he needed — study material, test series, doubt sessions — all in Hindi. The faculty never let him feel out of place. They gave him the confidence to learn in his own language and made that his greatest strength.
"They gave me the right to learn in my language — and that became my power," Monu says with emotion.
Monu’s hard work bore fruit. He achieved a category rank of 748 in NEET 2025. For him, becoming a doctor isn’t just a profession — it’s the fulfillment of his mother’s prayers and his brother’s sacrifices.
"If I’m here today, it’s only because my mother never gave up, my brother gave me his dream, and Motion Education Kota gave me the wings to fly," he says, with tears in his eyes.
Monu expressed deep gratitude to the Rajasthan Government and the Chief Minister, whose vision made schemes like Anuprati Coaching Yojana possible. He also thanked Motion Education Kota — "for giving a Hindi-medium village boy everything he needed to succeed, without any discrimination."
