Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Indian culture has always embraced the tradition of retrospection. Reflecting on past experiences while planning for the future ensures better implementation and successful outcomes. The construction of the new MLA Rest House, aligned with contemporary needs, represents a progressive vision rooted in modern construction technologies. The state government is implementing policies for quality education and skill development, ensuring technical training for all. He also mentioned upcoming religious events promoting social harmony, including traditional performances by tribal groups during the Mahakal procession in Ujjain.
Dr. Yadav highlighted the repeal of Article 370 and the abolition of triple talaq as major steps taken by PM Modi towards national integrity and women’s empowerment.
Speaker Shri Tomar: Vision for a Digital Assembly
Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar emphasized the need for timely facilities for MLAs, noting that the existing rest house, built in 1958, is now outdated. The state already boasts eight cities recognized for their cleanliness, and efforts are underway to make Bhopal the number one clean city next year.
A Modern Facility for Legislators
Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya described the rest house as equipped with modern amenities, security features, and technological infrastructure, enabling MLAs to work and reflect efficiently. Reflecting on his early days as an MLA, he acknowledged the evolution of facilities and technology now being extended to all legislators. He attributed the state’s cleanliness accolades to the government’s development-focused and visionary leadership.
