Registrar Cooperatives, Shri Meghraj Singh Ratnu said that special attention should be paid to audit of cooperative societies. Action should be taken against co-operative societies which do not get audit done on time. He directed to monitor the co-operative societies so that the audit is done on time.
Shri Ratnu was taking a meeting of departmental officers at Sahakar Bhawan on Wednesday. He inquired about the departmental activities and their functions from the concerned functional officers. He said that many housing societies violate the bylaws. Therefore, a mechanism should be devised for action against such committees so that possibilities like fraud can be eliminated.
The Registrar said that the letters received from the Chief Minister’s office and public representatives should be disposed of on time and it should be given a systematic form. He said that all the officers should work as a team and discharge their responsibility with sensitivity. He directed that the work should be completed in a time bound manner.
Additional Registrar (I) Mr. Rajiv Lochan Sharma, Additional Registrar (II) Mr. Prem Prakash Mandot, Additional Registrar Monitoring Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
