New Delhi, January 18: As part of “ViksitBharat@2024:Voice of Youth” the Department of Sociology, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organized an interactive session on ‘Diversity and Inclusion in India’ by Prof. Arvinder A. Ansari on 18th January 2024 at 11:00 am in the Seminar Hall. Prof. Ansari discussed the values of inclusivity enshrined in the Constitution of India and the need for civil society to honour the vision of the leaders of independent India.
The event was attended by students, faculty members and research scholars of the Department, who participated enthusiastically in the in the discussion by bringing forth their questions and comments on the topic.
