Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, called upon writers and intellectuals to promote progressive and reform-oriented thinking in society, while upholding cultural values and heritage.
Speaking at a commemorative event marking the death centenary of Kandukuri Veeresalingam, organized by Andhra University and Mosaic Sahitya Samsta, the Vice President paid rich tributes to the eminent social reformer, often hailed as the Andhra Raja Ram Mohan Roy.
