The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has once again taken action in Gujarat, arresting a government employee caught red-handed while accepting a bribe. The incident took place in Surendranagar district.
According to the details, Mogilal Padhiya, a Jamadar (head constable) posted at Dhrangadhra City Police, was arrested while accepting a ₹30,000 bribe. He had allegedly demanded the money from the complainant in exchange for providing “help” during the ongoing court process related to an old case.
ACB Trap Near Ambedkar Chowk
After the complainant reported the bribe demand to the ACB, the Surendranagar ACB team set up a trap near Ambedkar Chowk. Mogilal Padhiya was caught immediately as he accepted the bribe amount. Officers arrested him on the spot for legal action.
