The proposed visit of Nand Kumar Sai, Chairperson of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), along with a commission team to Umbha village in Sonbhadra on July 22, 2019, has been deferred in view of the prevailing situation.
The visit was scheduled in connection with the killing of 10 persons belonging to Scheduled Tribes during a land dispute incident in the village.
