The Department of Psychology celebrated the culmination of the Vigilance Week in collaboration with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). The celebrations aimed to instill among students the values of integrity and honesty in their daily life. Several activities like Slogan Making, Poster Making and Speech Competition were organized for the students in which there was a huge participation from across the University.
In the culmination event, high officials of the IOCL including Mr R C Das, Chief General Manager, Vigilance IOCL along with the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof Muslim Khan and Head of the Department, Prof Sheema Aleem pressed on the importance of integrity in daily life and exhorted the students to develop a culture of integrity for the prosperity of the nation. Mr R C Das administered the pledge of integrity to the faculty members and students of the Department. He also read out the message of the Executive Director Vigilance, IOCL, Mr Rajiv Kacker congratulating the Department for hosting the events and appreciating the participation of the students.Winners of the various events were given prizes by all the dignitaries including Abhishek Sharma, Senior Manager, Human Resources, IOCL, Vikrant K Singh, Senior Manager, Vigilance, IOCL , Mr Sanjeev Kumar, DGM, HR, IOCL.
Dr Meena Osmany, Associate Professor and Advisor, Subject Association, delivered the vote of thanks.
