Hall of Girls’ Residence, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), organized a webinar on the topic “Future of Classrooms Post Covid – 19 Pandemic”, on 8th August, 2022, for faculty members & students from different universities and colleges across India. The program was organized as a part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, India @75.Prof. Nazim Husain Al Jafri, Registrar, JMI was the patron of this webinar. He congratulated organizers for choosing a relevant topic for the webinar. He threw light on the importance of technology in the teaching and learning environment. Prof. Chandra Bhushan Sharma, School of Education, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), was the resource person of the event. In his address he emphasized on access of technology which will be the back bone of the future classrooms. He highlighted that with the help of ICT students will have access to best teachers, best courses and best universities across the world.Prof. Rana Noor, Provost Hall of Girls’ Residence and the organizing chairperson of the webinar welcomed all the distinguished delegates and participant of the program. Prof. Noor highlighted the inspiring leadership and motivation of JMI Vice Chancellor, Prof Najma Akhtar. She also highlighted the support and guidance of the JMI, Registrar Prof Nazim Husain Al Jafri.Dr. Savita Kaushal, Deputy Provost and organizing Co-chairperson welcomed and introduced the speaker Prof. C B Sharma. The program was conducted by Dr. Arshi Salamat, Non- Resident Warden.The program ended with the Question & Answer session and vote of thanks by Dr. Qazi Firdoushi Islam, Sr. Resident Warden and also the organizing secretary of the webinar.
