New Delhi, April 22: A career counselling session was organized by Jamia Senior Secondary School (JSSS), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on 18th April 2024 for the students of class XII at the Multi-purpose hall of the school. The session aimed to provide valuable insights into scholarship programs offered by the State Islamic University of Jakarta, Indonesia for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Visiting faculty members from the university shared information about the scholarship opportunities available and interacted with the students to address their queries.
The session commenced in the morning after a brief interaction of the guests with the Principal and the school faculty. This was followed by an introduction by the organizing committee, and a warm welcome extended to the visiting faculty members by the Principal. Professor Maila Raheim (Head, Centre for International Cooperation), along with her team, Mr Asmui (Staff for International Cooperation , Mr Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon (Coordinator for International Cooperation), and Mr Fathudin (Lecturer at Faculty of Sharia and Law) delivered an informative presentation highlighting the various scholarship programs offered by the university for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies which would be beneficial for both students and teachers.
During the presentation, the visiting faculty elaborated on the eligibility criteria, application process, and benefits of the scholarship programs. They emphasized the significance of higher education and encouraged students to explore the opportunities available at the State Islamic University of Jakarta. The scholarship programs would offer a 100% scholarship to deserving candidates, providing them with a chance to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.
Following the presentation, an interactive question-and-answer session was conducted, allowing students to engage with the visiting faculty members directly. Students enthusiastically participated in the session, seeking clarification on various aspects of the scholarship programs, admission requirements, and academic offerings at the university.
