Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has opened applications for batch 27—Class of 2027—of its Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM), commencing February 2026.
India's only Development Management Programme internationally accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA, the PGPDM combines academic rigour with practical learning, tailored for professionals working in the social sector.
"As the social sector landscape evolves, so must its leaders. The PGPDM is designed to equip professionals not only with passion but also with strategic management tools—from finance to governance—that turn intent into measurable, sustainable impact. We are seeking candidates ready to lead the next wave of social change," said Prof. Tanojkumar Meshram, Chairperson, PGPDM, SPJIMR.
With CSR funding in India growing rapidly, the demand for skilled talent in the social sector has never been greater. SPJIMR's PGPDM bridges this gap by bringing mainstream management expertise to NGOs and social enterprises. It fosters an ecosystem where corporate resources and social missions align to tackle India's most pressing development challenges.
Since its launch in 2011, the PGPDM has impacted more than 417 organisations across 28 Indian states. PGPDM alumni include founders, heads, trustees, directors and heads of NGOs, alongside social entrepreneurs, CSR managers, programme officers, and consultants driving change across the social sector.
The 12-month modular programme offers 32 courses delivered over six contact periods, blending classroom and online learning. The hybrid structure allows participants to balance academic development with work commitments, with the first, third, and final contact sessions held at SPJIMR's Mumbai campus.
