Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Monday reviewed the implementation of budget announcements made for Ajmer district. The nodal secretary, Shri Naveen Jain, briefed her about the progress.
The Deputy Chief Minister and in-charge minister of the district, Diya Kumari, said that the government has taken care of the needs of every section in the budget. The government is committed to timely implementation of these announcements. A proposal should be sent to allocate additional budget for shifting the TB hospital to the women's hospital complex for setting up super specialty services.
The in-charge minister said that a detailed project report for the Brahma Temple corridor should be prepared. Everyone should be involved in planning it. Development work should be carried out while maintaining the original structure here. Along with cleanliness, facilities should be increased. The government will provide full cooperation to restore the old religious and spiritual identity of the Pushkar fair.
She said that there should be a drainage system in areas that are waterlogged during the monsoon. Drainage and escape channels should be cleaned regularly. Rescue teams should always be on alert mode. Garbage that has accumulated should also be cleaned. After the water recedes, there is a risk of diseases caused by water contamination. Adequate medicines and other materials should be arranged in advance for its treatment. Take precautions beforehand to prevent electrical accidents during the rain.
She said that roads being built in the district should also have drainage provisions. The entire area should be cleared of encroachments before building roads. Work should be done according to the advice of local representatives regarding the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. All the sports grounds established in the district should be used. There are hidden talents in sports in rural areas. Adequate equipment and training should be provided to bring them forward. For this, funds like DFMT and SFC should be used.
Union Agriculture Minister Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary said that the contractor should be bound to repair the roads of the district that fall under the guarantee period. The government is running many schemes in the interest of farmers and livestock farmers. This should be inspected surprise by the subdivisional officer and development officer level. There should be roadways bus services in rural areas including Tilonia. Taking amla and rose flowers for one district one product will benefit local farmers.
Water Resources Minister Shri Suresh Singh Rawat said that repair the roads damaged due to rain to prevent accidents. The roads have been damaged the most in Makreda, Doomada, and Budhwada areas. Ensure their repair. The water pipelines in this area have also been damaged. Fix them. Roads should also be built on a hybrid model. Veterinary vehicles operated by the Animal Husbandry Department should remain in the area continuously. Monitor them directly. Continuous drainage should be done in ward numbers 54 and 61 of Ajmer Municipal Corporation. An additional police station should be opened around the highway.
On this occasion, Devnarayan Board President Shri Omprakash Bhadana, District Collector Dr. Bharti Dixit, Superintendent of Police Shri Devendra Kumar, and departmental officers were present.
