Additional Chief Secretary Mines and Petroleum Dr. Subodh Agarwal has told that due to the transparent e-auction system of mineral blocks and wide publicity, now minor mineral blocks are also being auctioned at premier rates. Plot No. 147 Minor Mineral Masonry Stone near Kasti village of Jodhpur has received 2.42 crore bids against the reserve price of 1.50 lakhs, which is more than 161 times the reserve price. He informed that in the ongoing auction process from December 6, bids of Rs 49 crore 26 lakh have been received against the overall reserve price of Rs 1 crore 77 lakh in separate auctions of 61 plots of Jodhpur on the e-platform of the Government of India.
Dr. Subodh Aggarwal said that the Mines Department has prepared 630 plots for auction of minor minerals granite, quartz, feldspar, sandstone, silicasand, masonry stone, china clay, marble etc. Legal mining, direct and indirect employment and investment opportunities have started developing in the state through large-scale auction of mineral plots.
ACS Dr. Aggarwal told that e-auction was done from December 6 to December 27 after delineating a total of 64 plots of mineral sandstone and masonry stone in Khasra number 989 of Kasti Tehsil Bawdi, revenue village of Jodhpur. The reserve price of 61 plots in this e-auction was Rs 1.77 crore. 49.26 crore against Rs. Bids were received, which is 27.83 times the reserve price. This is the highest bid amount so far from e-auction of Minor Mineral Plots. He informed that 2.42 crore bids were received against the reserve price of Rs 1.50 lakh in Plot No. 147 of Mineral Masonry Stone, which is 161.36 times more, which is the highest.
Director Mines Mr. Sandesh Nayak told that the state government is likely to get 40 percent of the bid amount of 19.70 crores in the current financial year for 61 plots of Jodhpur. He informed that the e-auction of 630 minor mineral plots has started in the state from December 6, 22, which will continue till February 17, 23.
Shri Nayak informed that the State Mines Department has started the e-auction process of 630 minor mineral mining plots at 35 places in 21 districts from December 6, 22, which will continue till February 17, 23 on the e-platform of the Government of India. Will remain He told that better response has started getting in the initial auction itself.
