Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot said that Rajasthan is continuously moving forward with the public welfare schemes of the state government. Today the Rajasthan model is being discussed in the whole country. Migrant Rajasthanis also have an important contribution in the development of the state.
Shri Gehlot was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sneh Sammelan organized by Saddi Jain Samaj in Pali on Thursday. He said that earlier words like desert, drought used to come to mind on mentioning the name of Rajasthan, but today the conditions are quite different. The water of Indira Gandhi Canal is reaching Jodhpur. A major part of the state is being benefitted by the canal. Along with the refinery, a petrochemical complex is being built in the state, which will give a boost to industrialization. The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is being constructed, which will directly connect industrial units to the port. The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan ranks first in the country in solar energy production. The state government has started a single window system for setting up industries. A new MSME law has been made, due to which it is easier to get necessary permissions. Due to the investment-friendly policies of the state government, MoUs worth Rs 11 lakh crore were signed at the Invest Rajasthan Summit organized in the month of October.
The Chief Minister said that continuous development works are being done in Pali. A provision of Rs 3,000 crore has been made for recharging the Jawai dam so that the water problem in the area can be solved. He said that industrial development is gaining momentum in the region through the Industrial Corridor. The road system here is being made more robust. The National Scout and Guide Jamboree, starting from January 4, is also going to be organized at Rohat in the district.
Rajasthan tops in all fields
Shri Gehlot has done the work of providing relief to every section of the society through the schemes of the state government. Pension is being given to one crore people including old people, disabled people and widows. 211 colleges have been opened in the state, of which 94 are girls' colleges. The state government has decided to open the college on the enrollment of 500 girls. The result of these efforts is that today the enrollment of girls in higher education has exceeded that of boys. The state government is doing the work of providing about 3.50 lakh government jobs. Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools have been opened, so that students from underprivileged sections can get quality education in English medium free of cost. Social Security Pension, Palanhar Yojana, Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme are important schemes of the government. Due to this, the needy are getting opportunities to move forward.
Rajasthan leading in the field of health
The Chief Minister said that the state has become a model state in the country with the schemes in the health sector. Free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh is being provided under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. The state government is bearing the entire expenditure on heart, liver, kidney transplant and cochlear implant. Medicines and tests are being made available free of cost. Along with this, accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh is being provided to support in adverse circumstances.
Excellent management during the Kovid epidemic in the state
Mr. Gehlot said that excellent management was done in the state during the Corona epidemic. The Bhilwara model here was appreciated across the country. Food was arranged for all the needy people in the state with the resolve of no one to sleep hungry by the state government. Through the survey in the state, more than 30 lakh extremely poor people were identified and arrangements were made for their discharge by the state government. During the Covid pandemic, expensive injections and medicines were made available free of cost to the general public. There was no loss of life in the state due to lack of oxygen. He said that the state government has given financial assistance to daily wage earners, street vendors etc.
Saadi gave Bhamashah to Maharana
In the function, the Chief Minister said that Bhamashah, who donated everything to Maharana Pratap for the protection of Mewar, is related to Saadi. Bhamashah's name has become a title today, it is a matter of pride for Saadi. The Chief Minister said that the Jain community of Sadri has a significant contribution in the economy of various states of the country.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched My Saddi App. Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the Jain temple after reaching Ranakpur. The Chief Minister stopped on the way and also met the common people. On this occasion, RIICO President Mr. Kuldeep Ranka, former MP Mr. Badriram Jakhar, President of Rajasthan Public Absence Allegation Redressal Committee Mr. Pukhraj Parashar, public representatives, senior officers and a large number of common people were present.
