The debut track of Laisfita has been released by Sony DADC India across 100 online and digital platforms around the world including iTunes, Google Play Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, Saavn, Shazam and many more.
The name Laisfita, has been inspired from the socio-cultural symbolism in Bangladesh of a colorful ribbon used by young girls to tie up hair, which also carries the spirit of energy and youth. The band is all set to revolutionize the female pop music scene of Bangladesh and to foray into boundaries beyond Bangladesh in terms of featuring in regional and global media, live events and music collaborations with regional and international music performers. The calendar of projects of Laisfita for the first year includes release of its debut album, performing for a Bollywood music album, release of an international song featuring one of the leading reggae music performer in the world and perform in a live event with one of the iconic international female pop star of the world along with endless live events across Bangladesh.
Laisfita has just signed for 2 years as Official Brand Ambassadors with one of the world’s leading organizations, which is a global justice federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. A formal announcement of the same will happen shortly.
As part of the professional band management under Creinse Limited, apart from revenue sharing structure and brand endorsement deals, the band members of Laisfita are also going to receive a monthly remuneration for the entire period of contract and complete hospitalization coverage during the period of contract with the band members for critical illness and accident treatment.
Rabeth Khan, Managing Director – Creinse Limited shared his feeling on the launch of Laisfita, “Laisfita is a milestone in so many ways for Bangladeshi music industry – the first professional female pop band of the country, the first professionally managed band in Bangladesh ensuring financial security for the band members, exciting regional and international projects lined up for Laisfita, which would be firsts in the music scene too. There has been couple of female band initiatives earlier in Bangladesh in the 80s and 90s through Bluebird and Angels, but they were inconsistent attempts on amateur levels. Laisfita’s success will determine the future of female bands not just in Bangladesh but also in South Asia. And most importantly, we want to grow the band Laisfita in ways which will also break social stereotyped image of female music performers in Bangladesh.”
