Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh are set to lead YRF's first female-driven spy thriller, titled 'Alpha.' Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film will feature the two actresses as super-agents in the YRF Spy Universe. The announcement, made on July 5, revealed that shooting has already commenced.
In the title reveal video, Alia Bhatt says, “The first letter of the Greek alphabet and the motto of our program: first, fastest, bravest. If you look closely, every city is a jungle. And in the jungle, the ALPHA will always reign supreme!”
Producer Aditya Chopra is sparing no effort to make 'Alpha,' the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe, an action-packed spectacle. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film began shooting today, July 5.
Following 'Alpha,' YRF's next release is 'War 2,' featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr in the lead roles. The highly anticipated 'Tiger vs Pathaan' is also in the pipeline from this renowned blockbuster universe.
