The Delhi High Court has summoned the Press Trust of India (PTI) following a lawsuit filed by Asian News International (ANI) for ₹2 crores over copyright infringement. Justice Mini Pushkarna presided over the matter, issuing the summons.
ANI has accused PTI of unlawfully reproducing a video shot by its cameraperson on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. The video features an interview with a passenger on a flight from New Delhi to Darbhanga, where passengers were left waiting in the aircraft without air-conditioning during a heatwave.
