Pulkrit Khare, Mission Director of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, inspected the Train the Trainer (TTL) workshop being conducted at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj, Lucknow, under the Tata Technologies MoU with the Uttar Pradesh government.
The TTL workshop is part of the Yogi government’s initiative to equip youth with industry-oriented and modern technical skills. During the visit, Khare reviewed training quality by observing practical sessions on advanced machines and equipment installed at the institute. He interacted directly with instructors and trainees to assess the effectiveness of the learning process, relevance to industry needs, and overall skill outcomes.
Khare appreciated the ongoing TTL training and commended Principal Raj Kumar Yadav and the institute’s training staff for their efforts. He directed that, along with Tata Technologies’ trainers, regular ITI instructors should also be actively involved in the training process to ensure effective knowledge transfer and continuity of operations in the future.
The Mission Director also instructed that training targets under the UP Skill Development Mission be aligned with trades where long-term curricula are currently unavailable but where machines and infrastructure can be optimally utilised. To this end, he issued directions to principals of all government ITIs across the state to propose training targets in coordination with the mission.
Senior officials, including Joint Director ECVT Mayank Gangwar, Chief Operating Officer DDU-GKY Ashish Kumar, Project Director Nirbhay Kumar Singh, Dilip Srivastava, M.A. Khan, S.P. Nigam, Om Kumar Tiwari, and other officers and staff members were present during the inspection.
