Emphasizing on providing quality skill training to the youth, Minister of State for Skill, Planning and Entrepreneurship Shri Ashok Chandna said that those training partners who are doing good work, should increase their targets so that they get encouraged and better results come out. Mr. Chandna was reviewing Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC), Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and Employment Department with departmental officers at the Government Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Shri Chandna directed the RSLDC officers to take quick decision and dispose off the pending cases. He said that the training partners who have done satisfactory work according to the standards, should be paid on time. He directed to prepare an action plan for skill development among the youth by connecting them with the people doing work related to special skills in the field.
Secretary, Government of Skill, Planning and Entrepreneurship, Shri PC Kishan instructed to run skill training programs in full capacity with transparency. He directed to train the youth through the training programs of RSLDC by utilizing the additional resources available in ITIs.
RSLDC MD Ms. Renu Jaipal informed that action is being taken by setting training targets in various schemes. Cases related to pending payment are being disposed of in a systematic manner. In the meeting, detailed information was given regarding the targets and progress of various skill schemes. Officials of the Employment Department said that unemployment allowance is being given to one lakh 95 thousand youths under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana.
In the meeting, General Manager of RSLDC, Mr. Khemaram Yadav, Mr. Satish Mahla, Mr. DP Saini and officials of ITI and Employment Department were present.
