Cyclone Fani which hit the eastern parts of India is said to be India’s strongest cyclone in 43 years. Affecting almost 1.4 crore people, the calamity has resulted in an immense loss to property and lives in Odisha and neighboring states. The rehabilitation of the affected people is the nation’s utmost priority.
Joining the relief initiatives, Godrej offers a helping hand to the cyclone-affected regions of Odisha with Special free service camps for its appliances wherein there will be no inspection charges for affected appliances and upto 50% off on any spare part that may be required. This service initiative is applicable across the entire range of home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, air- conditioners, chest freezers and microwave ovens.
Mr. Ravi Bhat, National Service Head of Godrej Appliances, speaking on the initiatives undertaken by the company, added, “We understand the gravity of the situation wherein large number of our customers are affected by this crisis. Even as our own staff including our technicians and service centres are trying to stabilize and re-start operations, we will be trying our best to step up and meet the service requirements of our customers in Odisha. These free service camps are an endeavour to bring alive our core value of ‘to serve’ and to go the extra mile for customer delight, and we assure our customers to do our best to help in their hour of need. “
Godrej initiated this fortnight long service camp starting from 16th May till 31st of May 2019.
