Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates appears in one of the photographs released by US lawmakers from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The undated image was made public by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee as part of a larger photo release ahead of a Justice Department deadline to disclose Epstein-related files.
Lawmakers said the photographs were provided without context and do not include explanations about when or where they were taken. The latest release also features images of several other public figures and social gatherings linked to Epstein.
The Justice Department is expected to release additional records in the coming days as part of a congressionally mandated transparency process.
