Tata Power received the Platinum Award in the National Occupational Health & Safety – Corporate Category, while its subsidiary Coastal Gujarat Power Limited won the Gold Award in the Power Generation & Electrical Units category at the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) National Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
The awards were presented by Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay. Praveer Sinha said the company follows global safety standards and invests heavily in employee safety training and workplace health initiatives.
The ICC awards recognize organizations for best practices in occupational health and safety across sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, power, oil & gas, chemicals, hospitality, healthcare, and mining.
