Under the Special Intensive Revision Programme (SIR)–2026, Rajasthan has now shifted its full focus to the digitisation of enumeration forms. The Chief Electoral Officer informed that the process of converting submitted forms into digital format is progressing rapidly. So far, 95 lakh (9.5 million) enumeration forms have been uploaded on the ECI-Net portal.
Barmer, Dholpur, and Ganganagar Lead in Digitisation
Barmer, Dholpur, and Ganganagar are ahead in digitisation, while Baran, Kota, and Bundi remain slow.
Barmer and Raisinghnagar have crossed 30% digitisation, making them the top performers. On the other hand, Bhilwara and Vidhyadhar Nagar are at the bottom of the list, with less than 8% of enumeration forms digitised.
The Chief Electoral Officer has instructed all District Election Officers to accelerate the digitisation work. He emphasized providing timely technical support to BLOs to avoid any delays.
Rajasthan Tops the Country in Online Enumeration Form Submission
The CEO stated that Rajasthan ranks number one in India in online enumeration form submissions. Under SIR–2026, Rajasthan alone accounts for 55% of all online forms submitted across 12 states and Union Territories. A total of 1.33 lakh forms have been submitted online so far.
Northern districts Hanumangarh and Ganganagar lead in online submissions, while southern districts Banswara and Dungarpur show slower progress.
How to Fill the Online Enumeration Form
The Chief Electoral Officer urged voters to make greater use of the online option for filling the enumeration form. The steps are as follows:
Visit the Election Commission’s Voter Service Portal: voters.eci.gov.in
Click on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) – 2026.
Log in using your Registered Mobile Number / Email ID / EPIC Number.
Click on Fill Enumeration Form.
Select your State, enter your EPIC number, and search your details.
Your voter list information and BLO details will appear. Verify your pre-filled details such as Name, EPIC Number, Serial Number, Part Number, Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency, and State.
Enter your mobile number, click OTP, and verify.
Note: Your mobile number must be linked to your voter ID. If not, you must first fill Form 8 online to link it.
To verify your personal details, choose one of the three available options:
Option 1: My name exists in the voter list of the previous SIR.
Option 2: My parent’s/grandparent’s name exists in the voter list of the previous SIR.
Option 3: Neither my name nor my parent’s name exists in the previous SIR voter list.
Select the appropriate option and complete the verification process.
