The state-wide Ghoomar Festival 2025 will be celebrated on 19 November across all divisional headquarters. The main event will take place at the Government Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur, where the administration and the tourism department are giving final shape to all necessary arrangements.
Poster Launch Gives New Momentum to the Festival
Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, during his visit to Jodhpur on Saturday, unveiled the official poster of Ghoomar Festival 2025. He reviewed the preparations in detail and instructed officials to ensure timely and well-organized arrangements.
Shekhawat said the festival is an opportunity to showcase Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage on a national stage, and encouraged people of all age groups to participate enthusiastically.
In-charge Minister Madan Dilawar also extended his best wishes for the event’s grand success. He said Rajasthan is globally renowned for its art and culture, and such events provide new platforms and opportunities for artistic expression.
The event was attended by Mrs. Kamlesh, Regional Tourism Office Deputy Director Bhanupratap, Deputy Director Dr. Sarita Fidoda, and other officials.
High Enthusiasm at Special Training Workshop
The Tourism Department, Jodhpur is currently organizing a special Ghoomar training workshop from 11 AM to 1 PM at RTDC Hotel Ghoomar, witnessing enthusiastic participation from a large number of trainees. Experienced choreographers are training participants in both traditional and performance-based Ghoomar steps.
Jodhpur Ghoomar Festival in-charge Smt. Sonia Ramchandani inspected the workshop, encouraged the trainees, and reviewed the quality of training being provided.
