Punjab Civil Services officer and SDM Anupreet Kaur Randhawa, currently posted in Gurdaspur, was reportedly taken into custody by Tarn Taran district police in connection with an alleged ₹1.63 crore embezzlement case linked to highway land acquisition compensation.

SDM Anupreet Kaur Randhawa, posted in Gurdaspur, Punjab, was taken into custody by the Patti police of Tarn Taran district this morning. This action is reportedly linked to an alleged embezzlement case of Rs 1.63 crore in land acquired for the Jammu-Kashmir–Rajasthan Highway. According to sources, the police took her into custody from the government residence in Patti.
