Bhopal, April 8, 2026: Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Anurag Jain has directed all heads of departments to submit their FY 2026–27 action plans and targets by April 15, aligned with the government’s top priorities as outlined by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Reviewing departmental schemes with senior officials at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Jain also instructed departments to conduct weekly reviews of pending cases under the CM Helpline and Public Service Guarantee system, especially matters that have crossed the prescribed timelines. He emphasized sample verification of delayed cases to ensure satisfactory resolution.
The Chief Secretary further asked officials to submit within a week details of their major achievements over the last two-and-a-half years, along with key initiatives planned for the coming year.
A major focus of the meeting was the review of laws enacted before 1947. Jain set May 31 as the deadline for departments to complete amendments, repeals, or proposals for new legislation, so that Cabinet approval can be sought wherever required.
The meeting also included a status review of the Action Plan-2028 progress report.
Highlighting the government’s push on inclusion, Jain said Madhya Pradesh has done notable work in women empowerment, and called for a statewide communication campaign to showcase success stories of women beneficiaries and achievers so these stories can inspire wider social change.
