Under the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the Education Department continues to take positive and compassionate steps. Following the tragic incident that occurred recently at the school in Piplodi village, Jhalawar, teaching activities resumed on Thursday. Students were welcomed with tilak and garlands at the school. The warm reception arranged by the school brought visible joy to the children. After several days, being back in school brought a sense of happiness and normalcy to them.
Parents also accompanied their children to the school and took note of the arrangements made. With renewed confidence, families sent their children back to school and expressed gratitude to the state government for not only restoring educational continuity in a short time but also for addressing the children’s emotional well-being.
On Thursday, 55 students were present at the school. The enthusiasm among the children on the reopening day was palpable. On this occasion, the students were provided with school bags, books, uniforms, and other essentials. They were also served a nutritious midday meal. Regular classes will now be conducted moving forward.
Until the construction of a new school building is completed, the school has been temporarily shifted to an alternative facility. This facility has been adequately equipped with classrooms, drinking water, and toilet facilities for the students.
This new beginning of education in Piplodi village stands as a symbol of healing and hope. It demonstrates that with unity, empathy, and a sense of duty, any crisis can be overcome.
