New Delhi, March 6: IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has organized its Annual technical fest “ENCOMIUM 2024” as part of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, JMI’s annual Fest “CRESCENTIA-2K24” on 03rd March 2024. The technical fest started with the final of HACK JMI contest whose one of the main themes was Viksit Bharat@2047.
Out of five finalist teams, first prize under Viksit Bharat@2047 category was given to team “DHAAL”. The other teams were awarded with other prizes. A Technical talk from industry experts was organized on the Topic “Embedded System STM32”. The other technical events organized were AI for everyone, escape room challenge, question for question etc.
A large number of students attended the event and participated enthusiastically. The Valedictory was organized in the evening. The Chief Guest of Valedictory was Prof. Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Visitor Nominee AMU Court & Director- Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution JMI, Guest of Honor of the event was Mr. Sayed Abdul Rashid, Deputy Commissioner of Police, 2nd Bn, Delhi Police.
Dr. Ahteshamul Haque, Branch Counsellor IEEE -JMI welcomed the guests and thanked them for gracing the event. Prof. Mahtab Alam Rizvi and Shri Rashid distributed the prizes to Hack JMI winners and other winners also. On this occasion Prof. Rizvi congratulated the winners and thanked Dr. Haque and IEEE-JMI student team for organizing such events. He emphasized on the importance of the Viksit Bharat@2047 campaign. Mr. Rashid, DCP, Delhi Police congratulated Dr. Haque and his student team for organizing a successful tech fest. The Tech Fest Ended with a vote of thanks to everyone.
