Greenwood High International School emerged victorious in the Inter-School Soccer Tournament organized by New Horizon Gurukul School, Bengaluru, securing first place in the Under-13 Boys category. The tournament witnessed participation from around 20 teams.
Greenwood High began its campaign with a dominant 5-0 win over Army Public School in the opening round, followed by a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Ryan International School in the second round. In the quarterfinals, the team defeated Head Start School 1-0 to advance further in the competition.
In the final, Greenwood High delivered an impressive performance, defeating The Cambridge International School, HSR Layout, by a commanding 5-0 margin to clinch the championship title.
Adding to the team’s success, Chaitanya Thirukkumaran of Greenwood High was awarded the Top Scorer of the Tournament for his outstanding performance throughout the competition.
