Greenwood High International School has won the Inter-School CISCE Regional Sports & Games 2019 Basketball Championship, organised by AC School, Jalahalli, and secured first place in the Under-17 Boys category. Around 62 teams participated in the tournament.
Greenwood High beat Sri Kumaran’s 32–12 in the first round. In the second round, they defeated Innisfree House School 40–22. In the pre-quarterfinals, they played against St. Vincent Pallotti School and won 46–25. In the quarterfinals, they defeated Vibgyor High (Haralur branch) 50–32. In the semifinals, Greenwood High beat Vidyashilp 45–34. In the final, they defeated New Horizon Public School 59–41 to secure first place.
Rohan Raghavendran from Greenwood High was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
