The attackers had been following the woman from Purani Mandi. In an attempt to save herself, she sped her scooter towards Yamuna Kinara Road through Victoria Park. When she reached near Hathi Ghar, the men surrounded her. At that moment, a traffic police officer was passing by the scene and attempted to rescue her.
The accused started behaving aggressively with the officer. When he informed the police station, the suspects attempted to flee. The officer tried to catch them, but they managed to escape. Based on the video, the police arrested Yusuf from Gudri Mansoor Khan and Firoz from Hing Ki Mandi.
