Jaipur, January 22:
The validity of the Chief Minister Overdue Interest Relief Scheme 2025–26 for overdue borrowers of Jaipur District Cooperative Land Development Bank Ltd. has been extended till March 31, 2026.
Bank Secretary Smt. Rajni Gupta informed that out of 881 eligible borrowers in the district, 268 borrowers have deposited their outstanding dues amounting to ₹641.27 lakh so far. In return, they have received interest relief of ₹719.09 lakh on overdue amounts.
Eligible farmer-borrowers who have not yet availed the benefit can deposit their due amounts with the bank by March 31, 2026, to receive the interest relief provided by the State Government. The scheme is a significant initiative aimed at providing financial support to farmers and reducing their debt burden.
