Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is prioritising welfare of the most vulnerable, giving concrete shape to the vision of Antyodaya. In this direction, the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Bal Sambal Yojana, launched on the Chief Minister’s initiative, has emerged as a blessing for children suffering from rare diseases. Earlier, children from economically weaker families often gave up hope of treatment due to high medical expenses, but now the scheme ensures free treatment up to ₹50 lakh, along with additional financial support.
The scheme aims to provide appropriate treatment, care, and essential facilities to children below 18 years of age suffering from diseases listed under the National Policy for Rare Diseases, 2021 of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The state government has made the financial assistance process simple, transparent, and effective.
