The Supreme Court of India today declined to grant an urgent hearing to petitions challenging the Presidential Order related to Article 370, which revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Court also refused urgent listing of another plea filed by a Congress activist challenging the government’s post-revocation restrictions in Jammu and Kashmir.
The matters were mentioned for urgent listing before a bench headed by Justice N.V. Ramana. The Court observed that the petitions would be heard in due course.
