Renowned management institute IMS Noida, in collaboration with the Model Career Centre, NICS Noida (an initiative under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India), held a Mega Job Fair in its campus today, attracting a significant turnout from students and job seekers. Over 50 companies participated in the fair, which attracted more than 1,200 students from over 20 top educational institutions across the country.
Held within the IMS Noida campus building, the Job Fair created an immersive experience for attendees, offering direct access to recruiters from diverse industries ranging from technology and finance to retail, Health, Mass communication and hospitality. With companies actively seeking fresh talent, many students successfully secured positions, while others were shortlisted for roles aligning with their professional aspirations.
While inaugurating the job fair on Thursday, IMS Noida's Director General, Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, expressed that the fair reflects the institute's commitment to securing a bright future for its students. "Our aim is to ensure that our students gain not only quality education but also the skills and experience aligned with industry demands," he said. "Through this job fair, we strive to provide enhanced employment opportunities not only for IMS students but also for students from other institutions. Our goal is to empower students with a solid academic foundation and guide them toward a successful career."
Mrs. M. Lata Gautam, Director of Employment at NICS, added that "The job fair provides students with valuable career options while offering companies a great opportunity to select talented young professionals. "The job fair allows students to showcase their skills and engage directly with working professionals, helping them shape their career paths," she noted. "Our objective is to make employment opportunities accessible and assist young people in choosing the right career path based on their skills and experience. Today's partnership with IMS Noida, with over 1,200 students participating, has been instrumental in achieving this goal."
The companies such as Satyam, Bajaj Capital, Amar Ujala, Paytm, Swiggy, Judio, HDBI, and many others from the IT sector interviewed students from BBA, BCA, MBA, B.Tech, and Mass Communication programs. They reported that around 400 students from various streams were selected for interviews at this mega job fair.
