July 24, 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the written result of the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2026, conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates bearing the roll numbers listed by the Commission have qualified for the Interview/Personality Test.
The candidature of all shortlisted candidates remains provisional, subject to their fulfilling all eligibility conditions. Candidates will be required to produce original certificates and documents supporting their claims related to age, educational qualifications, community, benchmark disability, wherever applicable, at the time of the Personality Test.
Following the declaration of the Stage-II result, UPSC will provide a 15-day window for candidates qualified for the Personality Test to update their details and upload proof of having passed the required qualifying examination through the designated module or portal.
Candidates who fail to complete the mandatory process within the stipulated window will not be permitted to appear for the Personality Test and their candidature may be cancelled.
During the window, candidates will also be allowed to update details relating to their correspondence address, higher qualifications, achievements, employment and service experience, service allocation and service preferences. The details submitted during this period will be treated as final.

UPSC said requests for changing the date or time allotted for the Personality Test will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The marksheets of all candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website after the publication of the final result, following the completion of the Personality Tests, and will remain available for 30 days.
