The Assistant Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department Shri Ravikant informed that under the Saksham Alwar Abhiyan, a program for distribution of free aids to the differently-abled persons under the ADIP scheme will be organized on October 16 at 11 am at Pratap Auditorium, in which the Central Social Justice and Minister of State for Empowerment Smt. Pratima Bhowmik will attend. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Tikaram Julie will preside over the program. The MPs, MLAs and public representatives of the district will participate in the program.
He said that 1839 Divyangjans of the district would get assistive devices before Diwali under the Saksham Alwar Abhiyan. He informed that block wise camps are being organized from 16 to 21 October under the campaign in which aids will be distributed. He told that the cost of these devices is about Rs. 2 crore 41 lakh.
