Yashoda Medicity, a leading healthcare institution recognised for its excellence in patient care, has partnered with Intuitive, a global pioneer in minimally invasive care and robotic-assisted surgery, to establish an advanced robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) training centre at Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Shri Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Road Transport and Highways, inaugurated the training centre, in the presence of Shri Sunil Sharma, Minister for IT and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The training centre will equip surgeons and care teams with the skills to perform robotic-assisted surgery across specialities such as urology, gynaecology, general surgery, and more. Through this partnership, Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad aims to accelerate the adoption of robotic-assisted surgery in India by offering advanced technology training and building a strong, future-ready surgical ecosystem nationwide.
The dual-bay configuration is designed to significantly increase training capacity by enabling parallel sessions or advanced collaborative learning, making it possible to train more professionals efficiently while maintaining high standards of surgical technology training. The centre aims to offer an immersive training experience that supports standardized learning, consistent skill development across procedures, and hands-on practice.
Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, said, "This is a proud and significant moment for all of us at Yashoda Medicity.
