Development chariots (Vikas Rath) were deployed across all six विधानसभा constituencies of Kota district on Friday to inform citizens about ongoing development works, key state government schemes, announcements, and achievements. The initiative marks the completion of two years of the state government’s tenure and aims to widely publicize the implementation status of flagship programmes and budget announcements. Through booklets, folders, and audio-visual content, the Vikas Rath is reaching villages and hamlets to disseminate information on government initiatives and accomplishments.
Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Minister Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra reviewed the Vikas Rath in the Kota South constituency near CAD Circle. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the government has implemented several public welfare schemes and flagship programmes over the past two years. The Vikas Rath campaign, he said, is intended to ensure comprehensive outreach of these initiatives across all constituencies. Kota South MLA Shri Sandeep Sharma and Shri Rakesh Jain were also present and briefed citizens about state government schemes.
Warm Welcome in Digod; Inaugurations and Foundation Stones Laid
In the Sangod constituency, the Vikas Rath reached the Digod area, where it was welcomed in the presence of Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Shri Heeralal Nagar and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Narayan Panchariya. Shri Nagar inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹11.62 crore at various locations. The Vikas Rath journey commenced from Marwada Chowki and passed through Bhimpura, Moondla, Paraliya, Nayagaon Ahiran, Mandawari, Kotsua, Balapura, Chandrawala, Nimoda, Chhipadda, Haripura, Kacholia, Kanwarpura, Dungarjya, Fatehpur, Soli, Digod, Devpura, and Mandola.
Shri Nagar said that 73 percent of the commitments made in the government’s Jan Sankalp Patra have been fulfilled within two years. He added that farmers are now receiving ₹9,000 annually under the Samman Nidhi scheme, with an additional contribution from the state. District Pramukh Shri Mukesh Meghwal, Shri Hemant Vijay, and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
Extensive Outreach Across Other Constituencies
In the Ramganjmandi market area, the Vikas Rath reached Barodia Kalan, Chechat, Devli Kalan, and other locations, where citizens enthusiastically watched videos showcasing government achievements and schemes on LED screens.
The Vikas Rath in the Pipalda constituency covered villages including Ayana, Vijaypura, Luhawad, Lakshmipura, Durjanpura, Sehnawada, and Pipalda, informing residents about initiatives taken in the interest of women, youth, and farmers.
In Kota North, the Vikas Rath visited Gandhi Colony, Purohit Ji Tapri, Railway Colony, Dwarka Garden, Mata Chowk, and other areas, distributing booklets on government schemes and achievements to the public. Similarly, in Kota South, the Vikas Rath covered CAD Circle, Jyoti Mandir, Wonder Mart, and Nasiya Jain Temple.
In the Ladpura constituency, the Vikas Rath reached Pratap Nagar, Hanumat Kheda, Devli Arab, Rajnagar, Raipura, and Thekda, promoting awareness about schemes such as PM SVANidhi, CM SVANidhi, PM Awas Yojana, Food Security Scheme, and MGNREGA. Citizens learned about government achievements through LED displays, and informational folders and booklets detailing decisions taken in public interest over the past two years were distributed.
