The Delhi chapter of the Jagran Film Festival concluded with interactive sessions, film screenings and India premieres featuring prominent actors, filmmakers and international participants.
The closing day featured in-conversation sessions with Taapsee Pannu and Ishaan Khatter, moderated by film critic Rajeev Masand. Director Devanshu Singh also interacted with audiences during a Q&A session following the screening of Chintu Ka Birthday.
The Delhi edition concluded with the India premiere of Late Night, directed by Nisha Ganatra. The festival also screened the Taiwanese film Han Dan in the presence of representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center.
Other India premieres and featured screenings included In This Land Nobody Knew How to Cry, Children Playing God, Bulbul Can Sing, Nakaash, Meshampur, Long Shot and several short films and documentaries.
As part of the Rajnigandha Achiever’s Film segment, the festival screened Soorma directed by Shaad Ali and Harjeeta directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.
Commenting on the successful conclusion of the Delhi chapter, Basant Rathore said the festival witnessed strong global participation and packed auditoriums despite heavy rainfall. He noted that 22 international films premiered during the Delhi edition, with participants from countries including Iran, Taiwan, Bangladesh, the USA, the UK and Argentina, the country in focus for the 10th edition.
