Audio specialist Sonova Consumer Hearing Business has announced the appointment of Vijay Sharma as the Regional Senior Director of APeC Consumer Hearing Business based out of Singapore. In his new role, Vijay will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the consumer hearing business across the APeC region, which includes Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India. This portfolio comprises innovative products such as headphones, soundbars, and speech-enhanced hearables operated by Sonova Holding AG under the license of Sennheiser.
Vijay Sharma assumed his new role on 1 April 2025 for which he will relocate from India to Singapore and report directly to Sharna Heinjus, VP of Global Sales at Sonova Consumer Hearing. "The depth and breadth of Vijay’s experience makes him an ideal fit for our ambitious vision and dynamic company culture," said Sharna Heinjus. "His proven leadership, data-driven approach, and rich insights into the consumer electronics space will undoubtedly propel our mission forward."

- General Manager - South & West India at Lenovo, where he was instrumental in managing a direct and indirect team of over 500 individuals and achieving notable topline and gross margin results.
- Sales and Marketing Head at Johnson & Johnson, where he spearheaded strategies that propelled the Vision Care business to new heights.
Vijay began his career as part of the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) and held key roles with Titan Industries and Samsung Electronics, honing his expertise in marketing, product management, and business development.
