In Mumbai, delegation of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress visited Rajbhavan today to stake its claim to form the government in the state. In a tweet, Congress spokesperson Sachin Savant said that the delegation submitted the letter to form the government in future as the incumbent government is definitely going to fall.
Meanwhile, NCP president Sharad Pawar today said that Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress alliance will prove its majority and form government in Maharashtra. He was speaking to reporters after paying tribute to the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra late Yeshwantrao Chavan on his death anniversary at Karad. He alleged that BJP misled the governor and staked claim to form the government inspite of not having the majority.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut also launched scathing attack on BJP and reiterated his party’s stance about government formation. In another development, senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal met Ajit Pawar in Mumbai but did not disclose the outcome of his meeting with the rebel leader.
