The Supreme Court has asked Delhi, UP and Haryana Government to come out with a uniform policy for movement within the NCR region. The apex court was hearing a petition citing inconvenience caused to the people as a result of sealing of borders by inter-state restrictions imposed in the National Capital Territory region, NCR in the wake of COVID19.
The court has favoured a uniform policy for NCR movements and said one policy, one path and one portal was required. It has asked the respective state officials to evolve a common policy in this regard within a week and develop a portal for smooth inter-state movement in the NCR.
